Our Pre-Planning Strategy

The Global American Party will take time to develop its global American Mission, during which time we will support and vote with the Democratic Party and with any other party or person who represents humanitarian values and the Constitution of the United States.

To avoid becoming a spoiler for either of the two predominant parties during upcoming State and Federal elections, the Global American Party will NOT be registered as an American Political Party until after the 2028 presidential election.

Why the Global American Party

A message from the party facilitator,Jeffrey Charles Hardy

Excerpt from Marin Independent Journal OpEd on February 16, 2025 by Hardy:

"While a dispassionate observer might argue that the Republican Party (with its “America First” focus) and the Democratic Party (with its “Americans First” focus) have lost their way and are floundering in a spectacle few enjoy witnessing, why not establish a “Global American Party” that puts “Everyone in the World First” as the focus?

"The concept of creating another American party is not new. History shows that numerous such attempts have failed.

"Along with the Independent and Green parties that continue to disrupt the political landscape, others have faded into obscurity, including George Wallace’s American Independent Party, Ross Perot’s Reform Party, and, more recently, Andrew Yang’s Forward Party.

"But I’m not talking about establishing a third dominant American party.

I suggest that we directly challenge our current two-party system, which fails to address Americans' needs and the concerns of the global community.

"We urgently need an alternative – something that could at least motivate the Democratic and Republican parties to stop the endless bickering that has been tearing our country apart.

"It also compels us to think AND act globally, as if the fate of humanity is at stake. Because it truly is.

"At the very least, the Global American Party would establish a platform for United States to lead initiatives on global climate change, global sustainability and, ultimately, the creation of a global nation.

"The first step for a Global American Party would be to organize a preplanning team to assist in establishing the new party in conjunction with global initiatives.
